KEEP UCLA HEALTH PUBLIC Solidarity Actions & Zoom

October 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

UCLA Health is one of Los Angeles’ most important public health care institutions. As a public institution, it has a responsibility to ensure its world-class care is accessible to all Californians.

That’s why resident and attending physicians, front line clinicians, students and patients are speaking out about UCLA Health’s decision not to renew its contract with Health Care LA (HCLA), a nonprofit health care network that helps coordinate and manage care for approximately 680,000 low-income residents across Los Angeles County. The decision has disrupted access and continuity of care for thousands of high risk Medi-Cal patients, including children and patients with complex health needs.

Take action by sending an email to Mr. Butler (UCLA Health COO of Community Clinics), Ms. Wallace (UCLA Health CFO), and UCLA Health President Johnese Spisso, demand that they meet us on Wednesday, October 28th at 12pm to discuss the impact of this decision and steps to address the issues and concerns we have going forward.
